My cousin and her husband have a business located in the North Hollywood. He owns a talent agency where the company manages and do workshops for Hollywood talents in the different line of entertainment which some of the Hollywood stars they handle are familiar to us.
While I was chatting with my cousin, it brought to me an idea of having a Hollywood in the Philippines. Also, the fact that there are many Filipinos who are already well known in the Hollywood means that Filipinos are very talented. Filipinos can show their talent to the world in different field of business, sports, performing arts and especially in entertainment. So why not put a Hollywood in the Philippines?
There are still companies in the film industry still trying to invest or put a big budget to produce a Hollywood like films but they are not able to achieve their goal. Some companies are also afraid to put a lot because of their forecast that they can’t catch the taste of the consumers and can’t even reach in international screening. That is why in Cinemas the top films watched by customers are Hollywood films. So how is it possible to have a Hollywood in the Philippines?
In the next few years, an unnamed Filipino businessman would encouraged himself to run this kind of business and a group of investors would go this venture. The company will be called “Pinoywood”. Pinoywood would be separated from other film and entertainment group. Pinoywood would discover new and fresh talents, proactive employees from young and expert directors, producers to the ground crews, equipped with modern imaging and unusual special effects. And the first movie to produce would definitely shake the whole world and be the most talked about film maker across the globe.
As Pinoywood would rise up in the Southeast Manila, new pop, rock and R&B superstars would also be born. Albums to be released are the top grosser and Pinoywood music would dominate on the Top 200 songs. Philippines would then not just a tourist spot but a hot spot where real superstars are born. Biggest advertisers and sponsors would seek endorsement from our Pinoywood talents. Pinoywood would still be open for those existing talents who want to show themselves within the parameters of Pinoywood.
